Luke the Lucario - Sonic Style

After playing Sonic Generations a lot with the Lucario character mod, it inspired me about Pokemon being in a Sonic universe and as such, stylized as Sonic characters. Several artists already took this path and I want to join in.

I'm sure there will be some who would say there is hardly anything Sonic-ish about this (and I really agree), but I didn't want to change so much just so it matches the design of a certain Sonic character. The main difference are the eyes; as a Riolu, I went with the style similar to that Tails and then as a Lucario, I went for an eye design similar to that of Espio.

I've seen one done a Lucario (and a Zoroark) with what I call the "monoeye" style similar to that of Sonic, Shadow and Silver etc. and while I love the effort, it looks out of place and I think its better if a Lucario has normal eyes.

Anyway, I like to think that the Mega Evolutions we all know can be considered as Super Forms in the Sonic Universe. Whether they shall be achieved through Chaos Emeralds or their respective mega stones is arguable.

Oh yeah, I also give Luke a personal trait. While some go for clothes or hairstyles, I just went for a simple accessory; a scarf as a Riolu, turned armband as a Lucario. The unique trait is when he goes Super (or Mega), his scarf glows yellow and embers starts coming off it. It returns to normal when reverting back to a normal state.
