Description

Took this Italian art-on-wheels rental out for a spin and have a little thought about it:

On performance, its a bit underwhelming at first. I've driven the Nismo, the Porsche 959 and the Shelby GT500 and they're more lively in comparison to the Alfa. Its initial acceleration isn't too strong either, but once you get the momentum going, it could overtake an S-Class 12' Boss 302 (there's only milliseconds between both of us across the line). Handling-wise, its not sharp. It sometimes wanders. I even have a bit of a numb feeling trying to change direction. But the faster I go, the less that numb feeling stays.

Despite everything, I actually enjoy driving this. It could be what the BMW 135i drives like, only faster. Doesn't excel on performance, but still feels somehow fun to drive.

It also has a heavy feeling in the steering, so I took it on Team Escapes and I must say, its not bad... but not good either. It has a bit of a punch, but its dwarfed but the ramming power of the Rhinos. Its numb steering also might give a bit of difficulty taking evasive action. Not really recommended in some cases.

Then we come to the anesthetics. The red iridescent paint makes this Alfa gorgeous, making the livery partially transparent when it shines. Being racing car-themed, it has a/m stickers, racing numbers, the Alfa Romeo logo on the hood, a two-tone black combined with 3 stripes adorned with Italian colours, plus a NFS mimic of the Cloverleaf symbol on the racing Alfas of yesteryear.

I'm not gonna get it because the price is way to high for my standards. I don't think its the "best in class", but just on the car itself, its not too confident on racing, but its still a fun car nonetheless.

I'd give it a score, of 13.9 out of 20.
